It's been sixteen days and the republicans
in congress refuse to support an insurrectionist
for speaker of the house.
They are receiving death threats but standing up
for the Democracy.

North America needs a strong USA. Right now the GOP is anything but. All this does is rally the crazies in the western world.

 You must admit then that the democratic caucus is their own worst enemy (we have met the enemy, and they is us) thanks Walt Kelly in comic strip POGO. By voting lockstep to oust McCarthy they assured that there would be chaos. At a time when the country needs our leadership to be united. Bloviate as you will, the fact is that the democrats are responsible for the chaos. If there were only a few reasonable democrats in the caucus, we might be back to business as difunctionally usual. That might be enough to get the USA through the Middle East disaster.
