Just a girl/////memories I've just put on a load of washing made myself a coffee and dunking my shortbread bikkies And I drifted back when I was a girl. The day's first love's, puppy love and crushers, I remember falling in love With a Rockstar his pictures pinned to my wall. I still remember my dad walking in with a scraper in his back pocket, he wanted to paint my room. As he stood scratching his head and chuckling, this will take a day just to take the pictures down and fill the pinholes but he was patient. Barely finished when my pictures all went back up more pinholes he walked past my room and just muttered why do I bother. I just thought I would share one of my memories with you. Shit, the spin cycle has just gone out of whack and the washing machine is starting to walk, thanks for reading. |

I sold appliances for many years. I will relate this little story about washers and dryers. dryers. A couple came in, he was significantly older than she was. He wanted to look at washer and dryers. He noted that his old ones were very old and the washer had finally died. I sowed them the various ones we had on display. Detailing the features and such. He was interested in the newer front load type just getting popular in the USA. I had asked him what features were important to him and he advised these were going on the second floor. He said he wanted one that was very quiet and with less vibration than the one he had. So I told him all of the front loaders would likely be quieter if installed properly. So the two of them wanted to discuss the options and prices etc. But, I heard her say to him (paraphrasing here), Daddy, I don't want one that does not vibrate, I sit on them and when you are gone for a week or two for work, it is the only way I can jet my jollies. Well you know when she mentioned Daddy and about getting her jollies, I knew exactly what their relationship was.  . he tole here don't worry I will get you something I can control you while the laundry is being done that will make you smile. I didn't say anything.They did buy a quiet one. And I bet he made her happy too. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

Miss knottaslut, it seems like your washer had an unbalanced load, sheets or large towels often cause this in the older machines. Some of the newer ones have self balancing or maybe you should get a talented wife to do all this for you If you can't find one I volunteer.
