As I drink my coffee
remembering back
those early days
of submission

My very first Master
All the writing exercises
Questions
that needed to be
answered
Even if they were
uncomfortable questions

Not to judge me
But rather
To know me
The woman inside
Inside my head
Inside my heart
Inside my soul

It's funny how
little I understood
How much time a
Master thinks on
His slave
His property
His most prize possession

Not a thing
But a human possession
More valuable
than gold, emeralds
and diamonds

The level of trust
now
Is the same
As I remember
Fright or Flight
feelings
coming back

It's a journey
and it's one day
at a time
For me,
sometimes
1 hour at a time

Remembering back
to the beginning
Fore, this is the beginning
