Every day’s a lesson


The winds of change
Have provided
So many lessons

The kinds of lessons
That only real living
Can bring

Real experiencing
Real feeling
Real joy
And real pain
To name a few

Putting self out there
Taking the risks
Hoping for strength
Grateful for another day
Of learning

Sometimes
Feeling exhausted
Feeling drained
Feeling like the one
Looking inside
Of self

And other times
Storms shifting
Into bright Sun
And calm ocean

It exists
All of it
Because I’m living
It

Good
Bad
All of it
As long as I can
Grow
