Australia the land of assholes Australia has always been known as an easy-going country, they Pride themselves on giving everyone a Affair go. It's too bad they don't practise what they preach, like most of the REAL people on ALT we were expecting to be greeted. We have come here to play and hopefully find someone we just happen to be Australian, yes we have had different profiles. The people in the Australian room don't allow people to change their profiles and start a FRESH! They hunt us they spread rumours and it's all supposed to be fun, but is it really fun for the people they are attacking. It honestly becomes old and at times very, very hurtful. They don't think of the Psychological effect it can have on people but that seems to be Society as a whole nowadays it's more acceptable to put someone down. I'm sorry for whinging, but it times a person can't take much more. We don't want to leave alt we both enjoy it very much, so now Cheryl and I will start a new profile we've decided to separate, I know that one of us is keen to come back because the majority of people on here are extremely nice. I do know that Cheryl loves this place she doesn't talk alot but she's a very loving lady, so if you see a new profile please welcome my friend Cheryl... She will be sitting in New Zealand, no I won't be coming back I can't take it anymore. Thank you to everybody that was kind to us. |

Sorry that happened to you two. Back when the chat rooms where missing..i stopped in the Aussie room to chat. Most of the people were very welcoming, but as soon as I said I'm from California, a few said i had no business there and to leave. Now being the bitch I can be i told them to stick it. The ones that befriended me said no...please stay. So i get what you mean. Good luck to both of you!

Well welcome to the blogs with your new profiles. Best to you here and in RT. I gave up on chat rooms several years ago for some of the reasons you indicated. There were other reasons too, but suffice to say, blogging has many good folks and there are some interesting topics that come up. Other sites have issues too. The whole internet has pretty much deteriorated into bovine excrement tossing contest. Other than staying in touch with good folks, finding information and of course shopping. Non the less, you can find good folks and carry on intelligent conversation. Just need to be patient. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"
