Getting reoriented

A lot can happen in three months. On the down side, there are rooms/interest groups that I enjoyed being a part of that are no longer here. One of them was one of the few devoted to - gasp - actual conversation and I will really miss that one.

And it seems clear that some Alt-izens I knew to chat with and play with are also gone and I wish them the best.

There are many people who were on Alt 3 months ago (and maybe longer) and are still on Alt. I admire their devotion and commitment to finding and experiencing whatever they are looking for here.

Alas, there are still fakes and frauds - oh well.

Some things change; others don't (or do so subtly you don't notice) ; and there is life writ large.
