Being Polite

Being rude gets us nowhere; nor should it.

But what about being polite, courteous, interested? Does that increase the number of replies/responses we get? I wonder. Based on my own experience, I would say No, but then, I am, in the immortal words of Spiro Agnew, a nattering nabob of negativism these days.

Still, for me, the best path is always the one of politeness and I shall stick to it even if it feels like whistling in the wind.

Polite enquiry has always been the kind of message I respond to....even if I did reply to the crass ones it wouldn't take too long for me to stop responding .....

Thanks for responding. This is helpful; and provides some encouragement that I should stick to who I am, my truest self.

Same here. Being polite and courteous costs nothing and will get a boy farther than the alternative. I will respond to such messages.

Thanks for responding. You may well receive a nice and polite message from me sooner than you think. Cheers.
