Why are there so many scammers?!

Ok, so I know WHY there are scammers, but my question is WHY they feel the need to keep pestering people who just want a good relationship! I have been approached by 5 "people" that I am convinced is the same person.

Listen, for those of you out there that DON'T know what a scammer looks like is this:

1. After TWO IMs they ask for your personal info.

2. Their responses have broken sentences and language barrier dialog in order to ATTEMPT to reply to your "conversation".
For example:

"Her/Him/Them": What are you looking for here?

You: *Describe in full detail what you are looking for in a partner*

"Her/Him/Them": Yeah. Give me your phone number so we can talk easier.

BTW if you get the previous message and ACTUALLY give it to them, they may try to do two things.

1. Use YOUR phone number to make scam calls to collect people's personal information. There are TONS of scam centers that do this. ON TOP OF THIS, they can even use said number to blackmail you!

2. IF they do not do number one and you actually get a call from them, it could be just to get you to be pulled away from the website's security and use their charisma to sweet talk you into giving them your info. This way, if you try to report them, they can deny all of the knowledge, leaving you to financial ruin.

All I ask on here is two things. Be vigilant and knowledgable about scammers, and don't try to pull that crap on me.
