You can do a lot with a blog - post your whole profile if you want so standard members can read it, or make a post especially for people to contact you and set your preferences so their comments remain private and visible to you only. These kind of blog posts can be pinned to stay at the top of your blog so they don't get lost among future posts. I'm sure there's more stuff I don't know about too. Good luck!
