Today has to be a better day. Normally upbeat and hopeful. This place can suck the life outta anyone and everyone.
Its funny here. The real Las Vegas is really nothing like people think. In order to make it here you have to be willing to fake your way thru "life".
Lets just say that fake is not a talent I am willing to cultivate. I enjoy being myself, well, most days.
Even tho I am very alone, I prefer alone than being something that I am not.
In a world of fake and flake, being real is very very hard on a soul.
I came here with the hope that I would find more. The shine and glitter actually held no appeal for me. I had hope that I would and could find actual people. Boy howdy I was so wrong in so many ways!
Now, I just struggle thru until I am able to save to find where I can be just me.
I begin to wonder if even that is my own personal pipe dream.
