A. fools madness, House arrest & poetry in motion

Huh, I haven't been in a few months so Ive had my gold status yanked again. Probably didn't renew my icebreaker which I believe is done in February so excuse a moment whilst I go click YES My Account without changing a damn thing.

Ahhhh that's better. Now I'll be in limited use mode for 3 days while auto scans reject the unchanged info that has existed this profile for over a decade. YAY!

Digression over

It's April fools day today, which I generally don't celebrate or perpetuate cuz it's just plain silly to live to trick others one day a year. Either you're a prankster full time or you aren't. I'm not a prankster but I do embrace silly, absurd and ridiculousness as a way of life, so since most of the country is in lock-down I've been referring to it as house arrest and telling people that they need to shop for bracelets(wrist & ankle) for me with their abundant free time. It's a way to support local business online that are loosing money during social distancing. No ones buying it so far.

ANYWAY, April is national poetry month in the USA and like the past few years, I do follow along with my local library's daily selections, but this year, instead of making my own poetry of emotion, I am seeking and pointing out poetry in motion.

We all have them don't we? Those poems or songs that roll over you like a tidal wave, making you close your eyes, open your ears, throw your head back and tune out the world as the tune itself drowns you in feeling!

If you feel like being swept away or sweeping me away, please join in and share your ocean of emotion in motion as well. Ive already got about 10 on deck off the top of my head but '30 days hath Sept, April, June and.......' so help is appreciated. And will probably be required

30 days in 30 ways: Songs that I consider pure poetry

Once I thought I saw you
in a crowded hazy bar,
dancing on the light
from star to star.
Far across the moonbeam
I know that's who you are,
I saw your brown eyes
turning once to fire.

[CHORUS]
You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer
where the feeling stays.
I wanna love ya but
I'm getting blown away.

I am just a dreamer,
but you are just a dream,
You could have been
anyone to me.
Before that moment
you touched my lips
That perfect feeling
when time just slips
Away between us
on our foggy trip.

CHORUS

You are just a dreamer,
and I am just a dream.
You could have been
anyone to me.
Before that moment
you touched my lips
That perfect feeling
when time just slips
Away between us
on our foggy trip.

CHORUS

Neil Young "Like A Hurricane"

Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black
.

Just in case of technica;l bitches and glitches that may still be happening after 2 years: REPOST of the above POST. I shall delete this comment if post processes correctly.

I already finger fucked your post, thank you very much! It pert near jumped up and bit me.

I'm thinking you have a secret tracer on my blog so you know when I log in or something cuz I dont believe blog kizmet exists despite your showing me otherwise.

I'm not around enough to have a valid opinion on it but honestly, I miss vlads willingness of spirit. He trooped along every day trying to engage and bring life back to a dead site, despite no one genuinely appreciating it.
I wish he wouldn't have closed/hid the account cuz it did remove so much amazing stuff (when he wasn't in his dicky motherfucker mode).

Now bend over so I can take your temperature and make sure you are healthy

Welcome Back!

I hope you are safe and well!

I love the poem

Great song.

I am fascinated by the lack of time and ether. What does that leave? Slanting black holes? I think electro magnets can find them if you have a metal detector with a "zing" setting. One persons mundane is anothers HOLY SHIT! But keep your vectives and vectors to yourself, bub!

You're so fucking cute I can't stand it sometimes.

I so did not know this song. It's confusing yet still appropriate which makes no sense and sums it all up nicely.

I so agree, Time cannot exist on its own without space. Well it doesnt need to anyway. Then again I dont think TIME exists for the reason of or ways that we usually think of it.TIME does care about a minute or a lifetime. Mine, your or anyone elses. Its a conveyor maybe that all things move through and around but not really IN. Granted there is no way to know, but I know this...........when anyone talks about past times, I subconsciously(well not anymore) think of The Langoliers, those machines crunching away the last moments in time as it passes onto the next moment.

Multiple dimensions are possible. Im on the fence about probable because my knowledge of view points is too limited.

Solitude and magnetism though.....approved and gospel.

Huh I was supposed to log in last month to fuss at you about some crystal didlo company I saw, but now I cant remember the name of them that had me cracking up. Im pretty sure it was you who mentioned that there were such things a while back, but you left out the amusing clever name. Hopefully it will come to me cuz it was funny

Heya girl! Everything is surprisingly copacetic around here. Who knew Cleveland could act like they had a lick of sense? Well except for the idiots throwing their rubber gloves on the ground in parking lots!
