Profile Style So, does anyone look at/perv/read profiles anymore? Apparently, since I'm such a "popular" chick on Alt, I get this shiny gold membership, so now I can view profiles at my will. Oh gee, lucky me!! All I have to say about that is, I'm glad computers haven't advanced to 3D viewing yet; lest my eye be taken out EVERY time I log in. Sheesh guys, seriously? Hey, it's your profile, you can post whatever pic you so desire. But for me personally, if a cock shot is your main photo, it's pretty much a guarantee that I will NOT be clicking on it. A nice chest shot, sure. A cute pair of buns, bring it on. Your toy collection, a picture of a tied up sub, just the color red-I'm all for it. But if that's all you have to offer; well, sorry it's not happening. I must say, I don't usually even peruse profiles, unless someone has sent me an email. Or I've wandered into their blog, or they've commented on some ramblings I've made. Actually the photo issue wasn't even the purpose of this post. I want to talk content. Does a one line profile indicate....what? I can understand; just here to blog, or owned by so-and-so, not looking right now, or currently in a relationship. But if you are looking, wouldn't you try to pique someone's interest with your profile? Or is it a casual, meh, let's see what happens. I've seen some outstanding profiles that make me go...Wow-they really "get it", and a whole lot more of the other end of the spectrum. What do you think? Do you take a chance with a nominal profile? |
