Still

I may not kneel,

As gracefully as I once did,

But still,

I kneel

I have cushions.

...and thank goodness for them. These old knees are certainly not what they once were. I took ballroom dance lessons for a spell, my tango was on point, if I do say so myself. What's your favorite?

So apparently, du to Alt's cludgey algorithm's, you need to post a comment for it to show up in the recent post's? We shall see.

30's Shag and Lindy Hop. But I have not had much dancing since I moved from California. But not sure I have the energy for it. I started dancing with Flamenco. Which is extremely hard on the knees, ankles and other joints. So, a Waltz or a 20's Fox Trot would be just fine. But I would love to have a partner for Argentine Tango.

Oh my goodness the flamenco looks like quite a challenge. I could see that doing a number on the knees and ankles, but I'm think those quick twitch muscle contractions in the thighs would be an ouchie. I like a fun foxtrot, but there is something about the push/pull of the tango that I can really relate to. Be well, rayne

I was a roller skater and played a lot of softball......these knees aren't what they used to be but let the right one come along

Oh man, roller skating used to be the shit back in high school!! Good times, good times. Of course, the "right One" could lend some alacrity to even the oldest knees, I agree. Thank you for stopping in dreamy, be well,

rayne

Hiya Jenny, nice to see you. Age does not soften the desire, but it does stiffen the knees Be well,
