Me-(5 minutes after finishing painting the bathroom) God I hate painting!!

Also me-(30 minutes after finishing painting the bathroom) Wow, that looks really good. I think I'd like to paint the kitchen aubergine.

Makes total sense we tend to avoid difficult things but when we face the challenge and complete them the feeling of accomplishment takes over

Oh, I love that color ! I can't paint worth a damn....I have a hard time doing paint by number

Isn't it pretty dreamy? I think it will look so sharp in the kitchen with the white cabinets and stainless appliances. Don't knock yourself girlie, those paint by number areas are teeny tiny!

Looks like you did a great job...if you can bake a good pizza I'll consider you a keeper. Any deserts are a bonus points. Bonus points could add up to a pair of boots...Hint..

For me, painting is one of the least unpleasant of the household tasks, and you did a bang-up job there...!!!

It looks like you did a great job there dear Rayne. I don't mind painting but I doubt my abilities to do a good job, especially if the job is NOT up to standard, because your always going to be looking at a second rate result. Just to set everyone straight - I keep seeing patches where I don't think I have given enough product, and to my eye it looks blotchy. Maybe it is just my critical eye wanting perfection.

And for @tastetester - mate I would sooner mow the lawn, and it doesn't really matter how big the yard.

Quite lovely! Very pleasingly accented with purple leaved Heuchera fully spiked and raring to burst into flower,...
And verigated Hosta leaves perhaps? 🤔
All in all, a very aesthetically soothing scene. Well done, and enjoy it.
