Sometimes the best thing you can do is keep your mouth shut and your mind open . . Truth will always come out in the end. Let it change you or be drug along by it.

It's a start. We now need structural changes in how policing is performed from this point forward. We might have to add a couple of paragraphs to Biden's Infrastructure bill.

I am so glad that this outcome has prevailed, and I really hope that any appeals fail. For way too long American cops have been above the law, and have been protected by the administrive function of all levels of government. That same mentality started to creep into law enforcement in Australia as well, but luckily our governments and oversight agencies quickly stomped on it. It is still around but nowhere near as bad as it was when brought into check, and definitely nowhere near as bad as what America has gotten to. Cops are not military, they police, and should go back to dealing with society with respect rather than fear. The unfortunate thing about this whole sorry sage is though, is that your gun laws prevent Police being able to go to work and do their jobs without the fear of being shot and killed. Police have a duty of care in today's society, and in this particular situation, they showed no care towards the man that was handcuffed and on the ground. When he was handcuffed, he was no longer a threat to anyone, so why was he not placed into a Police vehicle then.

Now lets see what sentence that they give him. Would it be MAX on each count or a few years for all counts.

>>i'm just glad justice was served.<< yes... me, too. many are. but this is just a very very small first step. if we have to have a man commit murder while being filmed by ten or fifteen cameras in order to get a conviction... then something's not quite right. i get stopped for a traffic violation, the cop makes a joke and scolds me. meanwhile, a black man gets killed. and this sort of thing happens nearly every day. we certainly haven't eradicated systemic racism in america or unlawful treatment of people of color in the hands of the police. >>i'm sorry you feel that way sirsteven.<< little stevie and the imperials feels nothing on his own. he is a sheep who is told what to think and feel.

rayne I too am delighted with the verdict! It was flashed on our Newswires immediately too A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw Jenny

you meant to say the system work when 10 people stood up for justice. there is no door for appeals at all. again nothing Maxine Waters said would fall under that. lol. it is funny how the ones who are bringing the country together are hurting your feelings by stating facts.
