So it has come to my attention, that I am a wee bit on the…how shall we say?.....impatient side? Rush, rush, rush, now, now, now is, I will admit, one of my less than stellar qualities. In my extensive “research” however, I have come across, read about, talked to, and heard of many other submissive who suffer from the same. Relax, be patient, don’t rush….if I had a dollar for…never mind. Anyway, I have reached the following conclusion. Dom days and sub days are not the same length at all. Sub days, are like dog days-ever so much longer. Don’t hear from a Dom for a day? In subbie time, that’s like a WEEK! No contact from a prospective for a week? That’s like a MONTH!! So even though to the Dominant it may seem as though we are trying to rush things along; in our minds a perfectly reasonable (or unreasonable, as the case may be) amount of time has elapsed. So dear friends, those of you on the left side of the slash have now been made aware of these discrepancies, and perhaps you be a little more understanding of way time works for the subbies, and those of us on the right side of the slash can work on trying to compress our time into something a bit more in standing with, well actual time. This all makes perfect sense to me!!

I think communication is key to bonding. I'm in contact everyday without fail.. Now having said that...im going back to some music.. It's the B52's for the next 3 or 4 hours. No guitar mercy...

Such a wonderful analogy, Rayne. It's absolutely true in my case as well. I hate to wait. I'm impatient and the only way I seem to learn patience is to WAIT.
