Simulated castrations

I’m very interested in simulated castrations, but can find very little information and would appreciate anyone’s comments. When I googled “simulated castrations”, I found comments by one sub whose mistress applied a tight rubber band like the ones that veterinarians use. The plan was to place the band around the sub’s scrotum, but remove it after 15 minutes so as to do no actual damage. Sub stated that he felt very little pain for the first 3 minutes, but after that the pain quickly became intolerable, and that by the end of the 15 minutes he was in pain to the point that he couldn’t be still. That made snipping the band for removal difficult for the Dom. Once the band was released after a total of about 16 minutes, sub stated that the return blood flow to his scrotum and testicles was even more excruciating than before the band was removed, but only lasted about a minute. He also stated that while he suffered no actual injury, he wasn’t sure he would ever try it again.
That’s the only information I have found on the subject, and would appreciate any comments about websites or other sources where I can learn more. Also would appreciate any information from someone with personal experience.
