withdrawls

uggggggg
I simply dread withdrawls
whether from family, friends, hobbies or sports
I dislike them
at the end of today, the nascar racing season closes....
the weekends without racing are hard on me
its like a major component of my life is gone
I have so much respect for what it takes to run decent in nascar. Its a long season for the teams. Sure, the season may be closing, but the work at the shops continues to ready the equipment and personell for the next season. They have cars to build, engines to build, cars to repair.... if they are changing sponsors, all of the uniforms, pit equipment, trucks, trailers and everything needed has to be repainted and re-logo'd
sure, the drivers get a break
but the teams press on

this off season
i will not sit idle and suffer the withdrawls
i will start reviewing things from this year
look at the drivers and teams for 2007
and put together my thoughts on what next season holds for some of the teams and drivers.
well, thats about 2 months of time until they fire the engines in daytona for pre season testing.... then about 30 days from then, they take to the track, ready to race!
so, 3 months
well not even that if you consider the awards shows, recaps, and testing....
2007 promises to be an exciting year
not just in nascar
but in my life too
as i pack up the wagons, and *go west young man, go west*...
im nervous about it, but excited as well

well
i guess thats all for now
if the withdrawls get me down too bad, i will simply jump in my car, and go do some victory donuts in the apt complex's parking lot... heck, they even have a fence for me to practice my climbing skills as well!!!
