"My" house...

There is a house i drive by each morning on my way to work. Whenever i see it, it makes me a little sad, for it is the type of home i "always" thought i would live in. Y/you know... the one with the perfect husband, the 2.3 , the dog, the pool, ... need i go on?

Well, i don't have any those things in my life and more than likely "never" will at this point.

It's my daily reminder that life doesn't go as Y/you plan.

But this post is not all doom and gloom... i am looking to sell my current home, buy a piece of property somewhere within a half hour drive of where i live now, and build my own brand new home. i hope to find a wooded acre somewhere, clear enough for a house, and NOT have to see any neighbors! smiles... a place where I could sunbathe naked whenever i wanted! my kind of place... smiles....

If nothing else, it's fun to think and dream about...

P.S. - and but of course, the house is up for sale now... ha ha... a mere $799,000

Ah hell, write em a check!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Good luck on the property search and the home building.. It can be stressful but also fun and you are so much happier when you have your home, the way you like it.

Ah Venck Girl,
Do not confuse a house and a home. A house is a structure with four walls a floor and a roof. It affords protection fron the elements

A home on the other hand is where the heart is. It is your place away from the troubles of the world with the one you love and who loves you.
Just remember it is not the size of the dog but the size of the bark.

You could be in a shack but be the happiest girl in the world because there is love and peace in the location and in the heart.

You know when you enter a hove as the positive energy just welcomes you in and makes you feel at home

Ahhhhhh, but WYB2, i did have a home, now i am left with a house... i fully understand the difference.

i do believe that building a new structure for myself will bring me the peace of mind to have a home once again... a structure void of so very many memories.

Hey Rayne... gee ... the architect I have in mind only focuses on remodels, not new construction... lol
