In Honor of Fine Pets Everywhere

In honor of Pet Day which I learned of through skygrey, slaveforsushi and others, I’m paying tribute to the pets of the world by featuring a superb pet of distinction. While he’s not my pet, he is a pet of someone I know very well and embodies all that would be my ideal pet.

He’s obviously uniquely gifted, extremely affectionate, fiercely loyal, appreciates fine food and maintains a wonderfully happy disposition . . . unless he dislikes you in which case you’ll discover he’s a force to be reckoned with. He is a true philosopher. The Philospher Dogs

He would like to play a song for you now, a solo guitar version of Dogs In The Wine Shop originally recorded by the late jazz saxophone legend Michael Brecker.

Happy Pet Day!

I must add that the original idea for Pet Day came from MsRebecca35 which was inspired by lostPersephone.

All pets may send their paw signed thank you notes to these lovely ladies.

You're welcome blc and thank you so much for visiting. I grew up with a German shepherd almost identical to him and adore big dogs.

Unfortunately, Alt didn't post your photo but they sound delightful!

I suppose Zari is just bulking up in case she has to do battle with Zorcan at some point. Sweet and dumb is much better to have around than smart and impossible any day! Now sweet and smart, well, that's heaven!

Well, my response to your post has obviously vanished so they have way more issues than that!

They possess the inability to distinguish between photos displayed within a harmless context and those of a prurient nature. They have the same problem separating compliant emails from the contact info sending sorts.

Wow, Nakira is the world's biggest lap dog. Doesn't she wonder why you don't pick her up and hold her?

Please don't hurt her feelings; she is capable of major structural damage!
