All Jazzed Up and No Place To Go

I just returned from a most wonderful evening with a good friend taking a nice long walk around the city then having dinner while listening to live jazz for hours.

The only downside is now I'm all jazzed up and no place to go!

I love it when that happens but wish I had the perfect place to go when it does!

Sounds like a fun evening....i think hours spent this way really recharge one's batteries.
Yes, it really does! A friend of mine used to say, "It helps brush off the dust of life." I liked that expression.

Well, just try to find some palm trees around here! LOL

I would think there would be some jazz clubs there being such a tourist state but I really don't know. There must be lots of great Latin music there . . . Caliente!

I hope your dancing feet are ready to leave the ground!

Poetess bite your tongue! I will take you to a jazz club here lol. We might not have as much culture as Boston, New Orleans or Chicago....but we do have some

"it helps brush the dust off life"..love that
No culture? You have the Disney World/Epcot International Food and Wine Festival! I think some Mouseketeers are deeply offended. LOL

I went to Andy's downtown. I've never seen Patricia Barber but I have listened to her and I like her voice. I'll have to go out and hear her sometime.

My favorite female jazz pianist is Eliane Alias who also sings. She's an amazing artist from Brazil. My favorite female jazz guitarist has always been Emily Remler who passed away years ago.
