 Ryder, this post is about the lawsuit settlement between the U.S. Department of Justice (in particular, the FBI, who is the defendant) and women who have been part of the U.S. Gymnastics team (plaintiff). This case arose from the sexual misconduct of Dr. Nassar, who was the team physician, and the fact that the FBI didn't investigate properly. So my question is, the money the plaintiffs won, is that coming out of our tax dollars somehow? I think, that all of us taxpayers shouldn't have to be liable for the malfeasance of a large federal agency.
