Spring in the Air (and why you should)

All kinds of critters are showing up:

Saw a herd of four small deer still wearing their winter coats.
Bear scat in three places on the trail.
A tufted titmouse sat next to me on the railing of my deck and sang several choruses of five of the reputed eight songs in its repertoire for me, finishing to the thunderous applause of the beating wings of a pair of Canada Geese as they roared down their watery runway and launched themselves lustily into the sky.

Now if that little wood nymph I so fondly remember standing on the edge of my dock over a year ago will just show up... *sigh*.

have you considered leaving a little "bait" to entice her?

No need. Once the dust settles, probably all I need to do is call.

Those wood nymphs can be very elusive

...and tantalizing.

I would invite her back an extended visit. Nature is calling.

Howling at the moon and mal ad osteo.

She has a standing invitation.

Well, it's early yet. Maybe she's waiting for the outdoor spa to warm up.
