How to Be Kinky

Last year (200 saw the publication of "How to be Kinky: A beginner's guide to BDSM", written by Morpheus. Along with the basic practicalities - such as what kink is, scene negotiation, selecting toys, subspace, Top drop, etc. - this excellent book also offers informative chapters on bringing kink into a vanilla relationship, roleplaying to add to the fun, and on making the shift from online to real life.

This book is written in a fun, easy-to-read style and all illustrated with Morph’s titillating real life photographs. (What fun to start a chapter and see a face one knows staring up from the page!) In addition to Morph’s own words and teaching there’s also real life examples from the many kinksters who shared their personal experiences with him as he prepared to write this book.

I've known Morpheus personally for a number of years now and he's very well respected, both in our local southwestern Ontario kink community and in the international community. He is wise beyond his years, and a patient and giving teacher. He is renowned for his intricate bondage work, and his beautiful bondage photography. Not long after I first met Morph he invited me to visit his place with a friend so I could teach him how to braid hair – all with the specific intent of incorporating it into his current interest (at that time) in micro-bondage. His attention to detail is delightful, and it manifests again and again throughout this book. Many of us hope this is just his first book in kink.

So if you're looking for a great book for beginners this could be the one for you.
"How to be Kinky: A beginner's guide to BDSM"
by Morpehus
- published by Green Candy Press
ISBN: 978-1-931160-63-6

And if you’re way past being a beginner read it anyway - it’s very well written and a lot of fun. Who knows … you may still learn something new! Plus you get to read all those personal insights from the kinksters who gave input to the author and generously shared their own thoughts and scene experiences.

And keep in mind, as Paxton Hood says ...
^^ Be as careful of the books you read, as of the company you keep, for your habits and character will be as much influenced by the former as the latter ^^

Hmmm - an interesting theory Rhody! Who knows, perhaps the long harsh winters do affect the Canadian psyche. Many people seem to think Canadians are bland and boring, but they are oh so wrong! ~grins~
