"frilly" BDSM fiction ... It has been a heavy work week here, so my recent reading has been on the lighter side with enjoyment of some Black Lace frilly BDSM fiction. "Cassandra's Chateau" by Frederica Alleyn is a delightful little read - easy on the brain power but with a credible plot and nicely arousing writing. If you enjoy the eroticism of punishment aswell as kinky sexual arousal then the 'Cassandra' books may tickle your fancy. This particular episode in Cassandra's life is set amongst the chateaux of the Loire, not that we get much description of the scenery, and this seems a very natural habitat for the Baron - and the varied houseguests he invites to visit. The interactions of guests with servants - and each other - are titillating in different ways, and when a gauche young English girl is thrown into the heady mix then things really take off. Does Cassandra take this naive protégé under her wing only to find herself displaced? Or can she manage to put aside her scruples and play to win, no matter what it takes? Innocence debauched, hidden motivations, sweet young love, perverted desires ... all this and more take root in these pages, blossoming in variegated ways throughout the tale. And don't worry if you haven't read the Cassandra book prior to this one (Cassandra's Conflict). This title effectively stands alone even if you don't already know the characters. So as I leave the Loire valley behind with a reluctant au revoir to Cassandra ... ... keep in mind, as Dr. Seuss says ... ^^ The more that you read, the more things you will know.
