As many of you might remember, we had to have our cat 'Lunchbox' put to sleep on Oct. 6th. As has always been my practice, I always immediately get a new pet in honor of the one passed. There are lonely dogs and cats out there in need of a loving home .... and a somewhat empty home in need of a loving pet.

I went to the Humane Society and found one that immediately caught my eye. She is a mix of yellow tabby (Lunchbox) and Siamese. VERY unique coloring and she was reaching through the cage, telling me to get her out of jail, which I did. I thought I'd found a one in a million 'mixture' of cats.

Then coincidence of coincidence, I get a calendar in the mail about cats and the October cat photo cat is a spitting image of my new cat! WTF?? I went to Google and did a little research and it turns out my this mixture is now an actual breed of cat ... Tabby Pointed Siamese ... Who knew - Right?

People have asked me what her name is and I tell them right now it varies between 'Shithead' and 'Little Monkey' .... I don't give pets a name on the front end - I let them earn their own nickname over time. I have attached a couple photos of this breed from the internet ... The photos aren't my cat, but they are the spitting image of her.

So what has this got to do with BDSM?

Absolutely nothing. I assume everyone here also has a life away from the lifestyle. Plenty of other 'down and dirty' blogs to get your BDSM fix with.

Looking good.

A cat doing cat things.

In the first photo, she is distracted by movements and the sound she only hears.

The second photo, nothing there, time to nap.

Yeah, she is a beautiful cat and is doing all the things a kitten does, which includes running through the house 100 MPH and getting into anything and everything. Full of piss and vinegar to be sure.

Cats do hear well, don't they? I heard once that the only thing that can sneak up on a cat is another cat. I think that's true.

A rescue is the only way to go ! She is adorable and I know kittens are a hand full.

She's two handfuls right now. I've had to move several things out of her reach so she doesn't break them - Little turd.

Little Turd? Hey, there's another possible name.

Beautiful kitty Plz...

And yeah.. I do the exact same thing after a cat passes... All my cats have came from a humane society.. Love that feeling when I take them out of jail!

Enjoy all the comedy that comes with a kitten... It's priceless!!

I feel so bad for all the cats out there - especially the older ones that are scared and traumatized. I'm sure they once had a loving home that they somehow lost.

The kitten is a bundle of energy and about as clumsy as they come ... She does some pretty hilarious things!

Plzrmeister replies on 10/21/2021 9:58 am:
Thank you - she has the most unique coloring I've ever seen on a cat. The instant I saw her, it was a 'done deal'.

Have a dog too ... A beagle named Lewis. He's almost 15 and still getting along pretty well.

I am really happy for you and your new little friend. I think there is something about the way she got your attention.. as she recognized you as a good potential rescuer which turned to be right, right?
Have much fun, Plz, as it seems she'll be curious and energetic one little bundle

Love at first sight on both our parts - I like that.
She is a lover too .... The split second you pick her up, she turns on her motor and it's the loudest purr I think I've ever heard.

Yes, she found her forever home and she's spoiled rotten already. Helps me consume my nightly milkshake and gets breakfast in bed.... When I get up at 0530 and shake her bottle of treats, she's on the bed at the speed of light to have some.

Happy for you hope kitty fits in well with your household

Thanks .... She fits like a glove.

Yeah she does ... She and our parrot are trying to figure each other out. Kitty knows to be very cautious.

"Then coincidence of coincidence, I get a calendar in the mail about cats and the October cat photo cat is a spitting image of my new cat! WTF??"

Sounds like it was ment to be.
Glad to hear you've found a new friend to share the love you & lunchbox enjoyed.

I was going to say, she looks like she is ready to pounce, until I read that the photo
is not your new cat, but one that is very similar. Anyway I'm sure you'll have a lot of
fun together.

Plzrmeister replies on 10/22/2021 5:30 am:
I think it was meant to be too. She follows me everywhere I go - Just like a shadow.

Shadow .... There's a possible name for her. She is quite entertaining as all kittens are with their playfulness & clumsyness.

Are these gorgeous cats or what? I love the uniqueness of their coloring & stripes.

And she is incredibly affectionate!

I'm curious how Lunchbox got his name. Love it!
Congrats on the new little peanut. Moving things out of the way sounds familiar, everything in my house is either above or below the 2 foot mark, my Great Dane's tail could take down a small tree and bruises on my legs have nothing to do with kink, it's the Dane's happiness that give me two foot love bruises.
Thanks for rescuing. So many wonderful animals out there in need.
It was meant to be!

When we lost a cat (Silly Cat) many moons ago, we went to the Humane Society then too for a new one. It so happened they were having a two for one day, so we wound up with two. There was a yellow tabby kitten (Lunchbox) and a jet black kitten (Psycho) in cages side by side and both were reaching through the cage at us and meowing "Get us out of here!!" .... Which we did.

When Lunchbox was a kitten, he ate like a pig until you'd think his stomach was going to explode ... I guess he may have thought every meal might be his last. One day I commented, "He ought to carry a lunchbox around with him." End of story.

Siamese are known for being a very affectionate breed. Almost dog like. Also VERY vocal!!

Plzrmeister replies on 10/23/2021 5:04 am:
These hybrids are known for being very affectionate too .... And she is. When she's not going 100 MPH, she loves snuggling.

Fortunately not too vocal .... yet ...
