That's right peanut gallery ... We're talking Frosty the Snowman here. There's been some blogs about snow, so I suppose a blog about snowmen is a natural progression from there. By the way, is it still OK to say snowman without the woke crowd determining I'm misogynistic pig?

Gawd .... Suppose that song will be banned? We digress..
When there's an adequate amount of snow there's a couple of younger brothers here in the townhome complex that normally make a snowman, or two. It always brings back memories from my youth and probably yours too.

Growing up an Army brat, we lived numerous places - Not all of which normally got snow in the winter .... Think Alabama. I did spend several winters here in Idaho and making a snowman was pretty much standard operating procedure. Fun to make and they also provided good cover in a snowball fight.

I was thinking earlier how long it's been since I made a snowman and I couldn't even think back that far - Yikes! We outgrow making snowmen? Say it ain't so! Anyone in the peanut gallery made a snowman lately?

When there's adequate snow for a snowman, there's also adequate snow for shoveling the driveway and sidewalks. Therein may be the answer - We trade a snowman for a snow shovel. Suppose? The next time I see the brothers rolling snow, I just might join in and help out.

The last one made was when my son was around 3 or 4 and since then I think we havent had here the winter with snow that last long enough to actually make the snowman and can see it through the window for at least couple of days.. those were happy days now when I think of them ☃️❄☃️❄

There's just something magical about a snowman, isn't there? Especially when you make one with a child.

A child's excitement and enthusiasm are contagious for sure. They're having the time of their life making a snowman with you and their memories of it will last as long as yours.

He never leaves the Himalayans ... We'd have to do a snow covered Bigfoot.

First cousins aren't they?

Growing up in farm country of PA we had this large rolling front yard. One year we took my youngest brother, threw him to the ground and turned him into our own personal snowman........he still talks to us

Now why didn't I ever think of that???

One of those neighbor kids might work out perfectly.
