That's right ... My morning cups of coffee. I have one of those Keurig single serving types and I always have a minimum of two cups and, on occasion, three. After my three cups, I'm done for the day.

I hear ya! I get up no later than 0500 thanks to my 'alarm clock' cat. I come downstairs and fee the cats their daily ration of canned food and then take the dogs for their morning walk around the block. I get home, take my medications and put a coffee pod in the Keurig. As it's brewing, I get all the lights turned on, the shades pulled and give the dogs their 'after walk' Milkbone.

No kidding? Me too .... I add Nestles Coffee Mate ( French Vanilla ) to the coffee and then sit down at my computer for that first sip. Gawd ... Does it hit the spot of freaking what?!?! I browse the overnight headlines as I sip and then I come to ALT to post my morning blog. You're reading it right now.... Pretty exciting isn't it?

I'm sure each of you has your own morning routine regarding coffee too. It seems everyone has a morning 'ritual' on how they start their day and I wager that with the vast majority of you, that includes coffee .... For others it may be tea. Personally, If I don't have my morning coffee, I just don't function properly until I do.

Drinking coffee is bad for the heart?

I don't even want to hear it!

Nothing beats that first sip of my black strong coffee in the morning... sometimes it feels as if it flows directly through my veins... without it - I am barely functional on working days and on weekends it is such a slow and easy pleasure with no rush, no fuss, just pure joy in my jammies under my duvet with it next to my bed ☕

black strong coffee.....

I'm too much a lightweight to have mine without my French Vanilla creamer. In a pinch ( restaurant for breakfast ) I can get by on unflavored creamer.....

I'm a sissy too .... straight black coffee isn't my cup of tea. We're certainly alike though in that we're barely functional without some caffeine in our systems.
