Is it just me, or do others tire of the political diatribes on here? It makes me wonder if some people have nothing to do each and every day except get out of bed and find something political to rant and rave about. That would seem to me to get boring after a while.

There are people who love to 'stir the pot' and enjoy seeing what type of reaction they can elicit from people. If they are ignored, they generally cease and desist ..... The odds of being ignored on here are between slim and none, so the diatribes will continue.

I think we agree on the very simple point that it is their blogs and they are free to blog about whatever subjects they choose to. If you and I don't like it, we don't have to read the blogs. It's as simple as that.
We might as well throw that out there, because I'd bet a dollar that a respondent to this blog will point that out.

Yeah ... As of today, I have officially put a couple blogs on 'ignore'. These types of blogs are essentially a broken records and I always think "Get a life" after reading them - Hence, no more reading them. I have my own political comment today, which can be summarized in the following cartoon .... I think people on both sides of the political spectrum will agree with the thought.

Yes, in Americva as it stands today, you can blog about anything and then turn around and complain about anything. Let's keep it that way!

I am guilty of indulging in commenting on some posts. Most times I try to keep things within the sphere of civil discourse but some people with a different view of the world can test you.

Your cartoon does cut through enemy lines. Very much like that old Carson joke I quoted on a post of yours recently.

You're right, people can certainly test one's 'limits' on their ability to hold their tongue. I lament that the concept of civil discourse seems to becoming a lost art.

It's OK to agree to disagree. The mud slinging and 'whataboutism' gets tiresome and some on here just go looking for trouble. I consider them 'little' people who need a pat on the head and some sort of affirmation to make them feel important.
