Ya gotta love the experts around here don't ya? There are the political diatribes we discussed a few blogs back and then there are the experts. The ones that seem to think they're in a lecture hall and they need to impart their infinite knowledge on people. "OK people,, here are the fundamentals of BDSM">
Yeah, it's funny. It's as though the rules of BDSM were carved in granite and left at the end of his bed one night as he slept. Maybe like God giving Moses the ten commandments. These blogs have become as tiresome as the daily political rants. As with theses political rants, I no longer click on the expert's blog.
Back to the ole .... "It's their blog, so they can write whatever they care to and if you don't like it - Don't read it." I don't read it, yet I wonder if others do read it and merely scoff and/or snicker at such pomposity.. 
Well, maybe God did leave the BDSM directory, rules, regulations and concepts at their home. Maybe Santa left it for Christmas? They have a pretty high opinion of themselves'...... and it seems to escape them that it is, in fact, merely their 'opinion'.

So you're opinion is that opposing points
of views shouldn't be voiced . .
A "blog" by definition is a discussion, not
just a billboard where people to profess
aimless BS.

There seem to be some on here, male and female, that seem to strive to write something so profound, that the masses will stand, listen, and applaud. It's almost as if they need this to feel complete. I won't have a chop at them as I feel some of them mean well, but I can't stop wondering if it is something they need to do to feed their sense of self worth. Or worse, their ego! In the end, it's up to individuals to choose whether they read them, and how much they feel to take from it all. I just leave what is alone.
What is an expert? An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure.

You've noticed that too? There are some blog entries that are rather profound and make you think - I enjoy those.
I enjoy them too rather than the 'lectures' .... Perhaps it's the writing style, but experts/lecturers come across differently. |

You are correct, but sometimes offering an opposing view can put you in the firing line. At times, silence can be the greater part of valour, because common sense is not that common.

I'm not encouraging "tolerance" but I'm
not saying it's their blog to write anything
they want without challenges to what they
write. There is always more than one way
to consider any opinion even experts.
"Aimless BS" is in the eye of the reader!!
To expect common sense from people shows
your lack of it.

My statement wasn't being degrading,
just truthful . . . How readers judge truth,
depends on their common sense.
Being sure of how their judgment falls is
presumptuousness I doubt the find too
impressive.

Seem to recall a BLOG by the 'uncommon1' that was about a jail cell he once spent time in, and that he was told that Jesse James had once done time there, as well. Of COURSE, unless he was referring to the 'Jesse James' that was once married to Sandra Bullock, the post was shrouded with BS, as the 'original Jesse James' never spent time in jail in his short 34 year life, as far as History has established...TALK ABOUT PROFESSING AIMLESS BS!!! LOL! Ironic that the 'uncommon1' would post something like that and then post this comment responding to your BLOG. But, then, he did REMOVE the 'Jesse James Jail' BLOG, think he was embarrassed that he was CAUGHT posting BS, but then again, if THAT were the case, shouldn't he remove ALL his BLOG POSTS? LOL
