Rumor has it that women have a finely tuned intuition ... Their radar is always up and they can detect even the slightest of nuances and know something is not quite right in their world and/or in their relationships. I agree - They seem to have mastered the 'gut feel'. Maybe they're just more in touch with the cosmos than men are. I think men just take things in without the need to process and analyze everything. We're not always on the alert. Are we gonna get scolded for being sexists or something? WAIT .... If I'm thinking ahead like that, I might be exhibiting a certain amount of intuition myself. I guess maybe men can see a certain amount of things coming, but women are in a different class altogether. I'm sure the guys reading this can relate and have experienced it with their wives and/or girlfriends. I'm sure the women reading this can relate too and have many experiences with the "I knew something was up ...." Make Women Female Again

Most women are crazy . . . They reason they are crazy is because men are stupid. Let's be frank here, women don't need highly developed intuition to deal with men . . Just a reasonably good BS detector.

The only thing the guy in the cartoon is taking in is another beer. His experience requires a few pitchers. I think the "gut" intuition is prevalent in both men and women somewhat equally. You do have an interesting observation about time spent processing and analyzing.

To be on lockout is not the happiest place to be... sometimes you just do so to protect yourself from possible damage... because you have been through some sh** already... is that good or not, who knows... maybe that way a person can prevent some good things to happen too... but the fear is real.

I've heard & read that women are good at judging people as soon as they meet them. It's been said if your wife/girlfriend has reservations about someone, you would be wise to be careful until you know them better. They may sometimes be wrong, but they are likely to be right most of the time. It's said they notice things, if someone is being dishonest they may touch their mouth or chin too much. Or they notice lack of eye contact, or too much eye contact, trying avoid making too little little eye contact. Women may not even know that is what they are doing, they do it naturally. These things are there for anyone to see, but men generally don't notice these things. Women do, without thinking about it.

my intuition is that both men and women are capable of having good intuition. it just depends on whether or not the person is attuned to their situation and is willing to reflect and "listen" for the gut feeling and act on it.
