 I suppose a collar could be considered a ring of sorts. Of course there are engagement rings and wedding rings .... Why not a 'collared' ring? One can wear such a ring not only on their finger, but around their neck too. Has anyone ever received or given a 'collared' ring for the finger?

Yeah .... I'm sure the vast majority of us have heard of a 'public' collar - One that can be worn in public without drawing attention, yet having meaning between the Dominant and the submissive. Obviously this one would be a little conspicuous to wear in public, but who knows ..... I'm sure there are many ladies/gents who could care less what people thought.

I remember in high school guys would give their girlfriend their class ring when they were 'going steady'. The girls would either wear it around their necks on a chain or doctor it up so it would fit on their finger without slipping off. I wonder if kids still do that or if that is from a bygone era, like so many other things.

Gawd .... I remember those days too. Not to be a grammar Nazi, but isn't this meme a little inconsistent? It starts out with a 'her' and ends with a 'you' when talking about the same person. Maybe I need another cup of coffee.

 I see two responses.

Either her mother was frozen, eyes wide with her jaw dropped.

Or, maybe she secretly watched Mom and Dad at play while growing up and her mother just gave her a big hug.
