Geez .... I haven't been hiking out in the boonies in like forever. There are flesh eating cougars in Idaho, but I haven't heard of one attacking humans for as long as I can remember. The 'other' type of cougars are undoubtedly plentiful here also, but I never ran into one in my youth - Drat! Google defines the 'cougar' we are talking about as: 'a middle-aged woman seeking a romantic relationship with a younger man.' The best cougar I can think of is Mrs. Robinson from the movie 'The Graduate'. Who knows though, there could be one right here reading this blog.....  Is there a similar term for a middle aged man seeking a relationship with a younger female? Well, aside from 'Dirty Old Man'....  How come the ladies get a classy moniker and we don't?  It's not fair ..... But as I tell people when they bellyache about something not being fair .... "The fair's in August"  OK peanut gallery, has anyone here had a tryst with either a Cougar or a Dirty Old Man? Let's see a raise of hands.Make Women Female Again

I will say that I do tend to gravitate towards older women

When I was 22 years old, I visited a college friend in Miami and we hopped over to the Bahamas and stayed at the Paradise Island Hotel and Casino for a weekend foray. During our first night there, we explored the casino and I stumbled upon a beautiful middle-aged woman playing Roulette all by herself. She had a lovely tan and was wearing a revealing outfit that accentuated her curves. I bought some chips and mentioned that it was my first time playing Roulette. I began to bet as she did and, to my surprise, we had a lucky streak that for me ended up lasting the entire weekend. I ended up winning a grand, which was a significant amount of money back in 1972 when gas was only 49 cents per gallon. The woman must have won at least ten times more than me. After we cashed in our chips, she invited me to the bar for a celebratory drink. That night was a whirlwind. She was a resident of the Bahamas and had a luxurious bungalow apartment. She taught me more than just how to play Roulette that night. I spent the entire weekend with her, and she paid for everything. I only saw my buddy again when we met at the airport to leave. He said he met a couple of young ladies and wanted me to join them. Back then there were no cell phones so we went our separate ways. His luck seemed to be the opposite of mine and when I related my story he was visibly jealous. When I left her with a lingering hug and kiss, this lovely woman slipped me a note with her number. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach her as the number was false, and even if I returned and tried, I wouldn't be able to find her residence since she had driven me everywhere that weekend. Nonetheless, the memories of that weekend remain with me to this day.

It took me a while to realize that younger ones simply don't light the spark in me... so my attention is far more directed toward older men... Speaking of dirty, if dirty with me as his only dirty girl that is pretty much desirable. Yet if "overshared", then not my cup of tea... I am quite territorial

I came face to face with a bobcat about 3 years ago while I was walking in the park. He stopped and turned around.
