Perhaps the creator of this meme was having bad day - Or did they hit the nail on the head? I'm sure some people can relate, while others may not concur with the statement. I suppose a lot of it depends on how much people are exposed to others on a daily basis. That's probably true ... I'm retired, so I don't encounter too many people on a daily basis. If I don't venture far from home, I may or may not even have the opportunity to say "Hi" to anyone. The weather this time of year doesn't lend itself to being outside too much to run into other people ... When the weather warms, it'll be a different story. I suppose people could argue they run into some right here in the blogs ....  There are always some pissing contests going on it seems and I'm sure those people consider one another A-Holes. I've been here long enough to know which blogs to not even spend the time reading. Who knows, some people may even think you're an A-Hole.  Me??? If they'd think one of us was an A-Hole, it'd be you!! In any event, I hope none of you encounter one today, tomorrow or the next day - Perhaps that's wishful thinking, but we can always hope - Right? Make Women Female Again

Actually the world IS full of assholes as we all have one. How they react to you, is pretty much up to how you react, to them...

If you encounter an asshole in the morning, don't let them get to you. But if you find yourself dealing with assholes all day long, it's time to take a good, hard look at yourself. You may be the one causing the problem, so you need to figure out what you're doing wrong and make some changes. Don't let others bring you down – take control and make the necessary adjustments to ensure a more positive experience... Just Sayin... "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. We all have them, but that doesn't mean we have to be the one.. though the chances are one will show up now and then... and as they say, sometimes we will be a bad guy in someone else's story... that life.

I agree with you on retirement. It does limit the social interactions. I used to work in retail sales and also owned my own business. Dealing with difficult, especially irate customers was a challenge I don't miss. Most such customers can be dealt with fairly, but sometimes the situation could bring out their inner A-hole. I never worked in a building with a cubicle-type cell setup of offices, but I can imagine that working in close quarters had the potential for conflicts, as well as some folk just mixing like oil and water. I did want to weigh in on your green and yellow self. Or should we consider them your left and right brain or perhaps the angel or devil on each shoulder? From reading your responses, I find the words of your yellow self resonate with me. Your green self can be a bit of an A-hole from time to time.
