'Sign, sign ... Everywhere a sign ... Blockin' out the scenery ... Breakin' my mind ... Do this, don't do that ... Can't you read the sign?'
How many in the peanut gallery remember those song lyrics?

They're from the song 'Signs' by the Five Man Electric Band which was released in 1970. I think one could call it a 'protest' song of sorts .... It was a sign of the times - excuse the pun. Gawd, could that possibly have been 54 years ago?

This meme contains another sign of the times - sort of. The sign itself is pretty damn clever, but having hand sanitizer seemingly everywhere might be the new normal from now on. Personally, I have never used the stuff and probably never will ..... Well, unless I lose a bet or something.

Me either. I'm one of 'those people' who aren't obsessed with washing and sanitizing my hands ad nauseum throughout the day. Germs? I laugh at germs - Bring em on! My theory is that I want my body, shall we say, acclimated to as many germs as possible .... The more germs the merrier. I want my body to build up immunities so if a germ does come my way, my body laughs/scoffs at it. I hear some of you laughing at this and wondering if I wear a tin foil hat too. Two things .... No, I don't wear a tin foil hat and no, I rarely get sick. I can't even tell you the last time I had a cold/illness. Keep your hand sanitizer to yourself.

I admit I do use the sanitizer. We have so many visitors here right now.......snowbirds, tourists, spring breakers, just to name a few. When I went to Disney back in Dec I picked up that norovirus. Germs, germs, everywhere germs

I collect germs like people collect stamps.

If anyone ever pulls out a little bottle of hand sanitizer and asks me if I want some, my normal reply is "No, but I'll take some germs if you've got any."

I never liked hand sanitizers, but I wash my hands more often after COVID.

As humans, we should be glad we do not have microscopic vision. Imagine just walking into a room of people with all the germs you could see partying throughout the room. Mingling and multiplying, it would be terrifying.

I did see a meme today that made me chuckle with a sign that read:

DON'T BE MAD AT LAZY PEOPLE
THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING.

What shoes do lazy people always wear? The answer will bring a groan.

That room full of germs might terrify a lot of people ... I'd merely say "Rock on!" .....

What shoes do lazy people wear? Hmmmmm OK - I give up. On another note, what types of shoes do frogs wear?

Don't know about frogs but lazy people prefer loafers.

I loved that song.

And the sign said
"Long-haired freaky people
Need not apply"
So I tucked my hair up under my hat
And I went in to ask him why
He said, "You look like a fine upstandin' young man
I think you'll do"
So I took off my hat and said, "Imagine that
Huh, me workin' for you"

The song is definitely a great 'Blast From The Past".

Loaders .... I should have been able to guess that - Grrrrr
Frogs? They wear open toad shoes.

Pump it up!

But pump gently ....

Or maybe wear a wetsuit?
