If any of us has been on ALT for any length of time, we've undoubtedly seen it in one form or another ..... The ( so called ) Dominant who seemingly gets a charge out if beating their chest and professing to the world their greatness. It comes in many forms and makes me chuckle and shake my head when I encounter it. I've seen it in profiles, blogs and in blog comments. I hear you, dude. I encounter it too, but I bet the ladies on here encounter it a gazillion times more than either of us do. By the way, is 'gazillion' a real number? Anyways, the ladies have to put up with it in instant messages and mail sent to them. I guess they're either unluckier than the guys, or luckier because they get in on more laughs.  The ones that I feel for are the newcomers to the site and/or lifestyle. I'm betting many or most aren't able to spot the wannabe Doms and think the BS they spew is the way things actually are in a D/s relationship. Granted, each D/s relationship is different with its own dynamic, but c'mon! Ladies ... Raise your hand if you've been 'ordered' to refer to someone as 'Sir' within 15 seconds of speaking to them. That's pretty funny, yet I've seen many ladies around here allude to having encountered that. In fairness, maybe we ought to acknowledge that some actual submissive ladies enjoy this and aren't bothered? I guess it could happen.  I'd hope that the vast majority of ladies do what the meme suggests..... Better yet, give the wannabe an ear full and then swipe left.Make Women Female Again

EVERY Mistress/Domme/Dominatrix on this site under the age of 45 utilizes this BS within the first two to three messages by trying to scam the newbie.unknowing male sub out of 'TRIBUTE'money to be sent immediately, as well as canceling their membership, purchasing 'first session toys and supplies' through 'Mistress's supplier', and last, but not least, footing the bill for the 'Dungeon rental' (NON-REFUNDABLE, of course) ALL before EVER sitting down to a face to face meeting with said 'Mistress'...As PT Barnum has been (incorrectly) attributed in saying, 'There's a sucker born every minute...'

Putting aside the scammers who we know have alternative motives, the people you mention need to learn how to communicate honestly. As has been stated often on these blogs it is honesty and communication that rules the day. If two people agree that all they want is to exchange kinky messages and never meet to further one's fantasies then go for it. Find your partner by admitting this upfront, if the other is uninterested, move on. But because you think you're a Dom and from message one you can say anything, demand anything from whoever identifies as a sub, then get used to the sound of a click on your phone and ghosting in your texts.
