meal break movie: "Young Adult"
The meal break movie tonight is “Young Adult” starring Charlize Theron and Patton Oswalt, among others.



I really enjoy it when actors and actresses take on roles that are not flattering, that paint the characters they are going to portray in the film in a less than glamorous, or even positive light. Charlize Theron has done it before, most notably in the intense and amazing “Monster” but “Young Adult” is a comedy, not a drama. Still, it’s nice to see her as the train wreck she is.

Another film to watch is “Hysterical Blindness” starring Uma Thurman. It’s a role you’d never expect to see her take on, yet it’s the first one where I daresay she actually had to do some serious acting. Out of character is a mild way to put it…
