So if someone's blog is popular - but not got your seal of approval by being around for years on end - they're a "comment glory whore"? Really? That's a wee bit dismissive don't you think? "People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do."

Im sorry. I certainly qualify for your list. Fuck ive been on alt longer than most of you've been kinky. And i certainly am not a comment whore. I could honestly care less about numbers,rankings,gold status ( remember those days) or any alt bullshit. Not that i dont care about the people on alt. But my blog is for getting shit off my chest. It was never meant to be someones venue for erotic entertainment. I've always said if you need your dick jerked, there are plenty of other blogs on here for that purpose. People get mad that i dont blog about the .lifestyle.. But hey when alt pays me to blog about the lifestyle, then i may actually care about what alt desires Till then alt is mearily providing a space. And i provide them content that is hard to sell. If you want kink,want to know the kinky me then simply go to fet.

Well it was a fairly easy guess that this post would summon howls of "unfair!" or "why that and not this?" and a flurry of counter-lists. A brave attempt nonetheless. (thank you for including me, BTW, sorry to say it's been far too long since I last posted; I suspect I don't even count as a blogger any more to some people!) Maybe I could suggest that this is a "sample list", necessarily incomplete because who one earth can read all of them? Dreamcatcher has named a few that I would add and off course there are many blogs here that remain inactive but we live in hope that they will spring to life once more. The fact is that whoever has been left off is not necessarily "excluded", merely overlooked. but any attempt to separate the wheat from the chaff is bound to leave a few grains of nourishment on the winnowing floor. I applaud what you have tried to do.

I mean I have never read his blog, no clue who he is....as there are many blogs I do not read or have not seen float by on the recent blog list. I think what some people are calling out is the OP's use of the term, "top post comment glory whores." He has somewhat stated his criteria for whom he has designated as real, but to insult others to promote your point is very counter productive. There can be many people on the top post comment glory whores list at no fault of their own. The people seeking points alone can boost a person's comment counts. What exactly is the criteria for deciding who is a "top post comment glory whores?" Why not simply state these are the individuals who I read, who I have interacted with, and are "real" humans? Why do you have to denigrate others? What those on here are calling out is being insulted, cause since he has not called out anyone, but just referred to others as top post comment glory whores. If one looks at that list, of top bloggers, there are many on there who just write whatever is in there heads for the day. Some sex stories, some personal stuff, some the crazed rantings of a honey badger, others, just pix and memes. But just cause they are writing stuff or in some cases posting stuff, does not make them a glory whore. I would suspect that the person writing such denigrating things about people in the blogosphere is trying desperately to get their whore on. Write a blog insulting everyone, and you will get comments....et voila, he may not be a comment whore, but for sure teasing on the edge of an attention whore. You found parts of me I didn’t know existed and in you I found a love I no longer believed was real.

It would be a full time job checking out everyone's blogs and pretty much impossible not to offend someone by omission. Many of those on your original "guide" have commented on my blog - and I on theirs - but I've never doubted their legitimacy for a second. It never entered my head they wouldn't be who they portray themselves to be. It's fairly easy to spot those who less than genuine. My issue was with the term you used to describe the others. The irony being of course, that with this post, you've accidentally become a "top post comment glory whore" yourself........... xx "People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do."

Aww shucks...thanks Mocky. And seems you've stirred the pot. Guess we're not entitled opinions of our own without offending people? I'm not around much these days but I don't miss that. I write for me and perhaps to connect with open minded people but I've been doing that over on fet now. Hope you're doing well!

Damn! Thank you, sweetie. What a nice thing to post in a very nice way, at a place where constant whining and complaining happens over all the fakes and frauds from so many fakes and frauds! I wish you would have told me about this post, I would have logged in. Probably just as well, I couldn't have stayed silent over the stupidity regardless of the who, what or why of it. YAY YOU for your amazingly calm and legitimate replies. I could never have done it that well!  Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character. At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
