why is it that Men are so much more likely to show themselves than women?

I never really understood that. If you come to a site like this, where it is all about what you are looking for sexually, why hide? Maybe, though I am all woman, I think more like a guy, I don't hide anything from those I am trying to interact with, hiding means lying to me. Maybe that is just me. Any thoughts?

Sorry I missed you in the chat room just now. I was looking at another window of my computer, composing an email, and you were already gone when i got back to it. Then Alt won't let me use my points to send a message to you. And it's points I earned, so I expected to be able to use them as promised. oh well. blessings to you regardless of alt or timing

There is a difference between the gender what a majority is looking for at first place, which defines the concrete approach. More women than men care about public image and social reputation, just in case their presence on a site like this could backfire and affect their real life existence. They much more care about, what "neighbours" may think, in part based on the lifelong experience, that in a "mans world" the sexual needs of a high promiscuitiv man rather make him a cultivated "Casanova" or "latin lover h.c." in peoples mind, but his female equivalent ends up as despised "maneater" or disreputable "village bicycle".
