Disappointed Why is it, when one i respect says I have disappointed him, why does it hurt so much.....even when I know I was right. |

You can decide what you want to do. When I'm wrong. I'll admit it, but when Im right about something. I won't back down. I stand by my principles. If I'm disappointed in someone it's the direct result of their determined actions and not from a mistake they have made. Perhaps some communications are in order. I can't be more helpful because I have no idea what it's like to be a sub. Everything I say comes from my perspective as a dominant. Maybe it will mean something and maybe it wont.

It's difficult to say more than some generic things, without knowing some more details. If you love and/or respect someone, it does hurt to know you disappointed them. But if you feel you were right, then maybe you should also look at their motives. You can disappoint someone because their expectations were simply egoistic. If their disappointed was not mainly driven by egoistic expectations, then maybe you should really look deeper. If egoism was the main factor, you probably should also look deeper in why you give so much value to their opinion.

I know of disappointment, and it does hurt. I also realize that talking about the situation may put things at ease. Speaking as a Master, I personally would not be disrespectful kajira,”Bella”, because I feel that the amount of time and effort that you girls put into being what you are deserves respect these days.
