Sara left around 3:00 am on Monday, (Happy Valentine's Day). So I carried her bags out to her sister's car who drove her to the airport. She packed light with a carry-on and a duffel bag, which she ever rarely uses to travel. One kiss, one hug, and off she went. I went back in from the 22 degree cold. Checked on the girls, sound asleep. Then I went to try and get a few hours sleep, when I got a text. From Sara. It was strange. It said, "Please don't be mad." Now why would she say or text that. I'm not mad, I understand, and everything will be fine.  So I texted those thoughts back.I just didn't understand why she felt that way. Then she replied, "So sweet of you, but I meant your pillow." I looked down at the bed, and damn...  The duffel bag had my pillow. But, she left her pillow which I used and it had a sweet feminine scent that actually helped me sleep. So the four of us have two conference calls a day. The girls are sensing mom is not physically in the house, but with Sara's sister, my analyst, and Casey stopping by, the girls get distracted. And then our fun time during the evening makes them sleepy. Me too. So far, so amazing, so truly blessed.
