Working,

I have been working so terrible hard in both my gardens, that i am totally kaput!

It feels great!

Every muscle in my body hurts, my legs, my hands even... I will sleep like a baby i think.

This wild / permaculture garden is a hell of a lot of work!
First the front garden, thank god, that is not such a big garden and has a lot of big bush, trees in them...
I only had to prune and rip out the wild grass....

Cut the flowers of the elder bush, i am making elder flower limonade!
That is such a treat!

Now, the back garden..?
That is something totally different!
It is a long garden, 7 meters that is pretty long for Dutch standard...

The are some shrubs, and trees... but a lot of wild stuff, going even wilder....
While l let the hose water the garden i worked on pulling all kind of weeds out...
Unwanted weeds....

I have pulled out a lot of stuff, but still the garden looks as wild and unkept as before!
It is a miracle!

I know now, which plants need to be moved to an other place...
But that have to wait till autunm.

Maybe i give some plants away, to friends....
I gave a baby Húmulus lúpulus, to my gold smid friend...
She was very happy with the plant...

I feel great, when i can feel that i have worked very hard!
Every muscle is telling me that!

In the afternoon, i already felt the muscle ache in my hands and legs... from working in the front garden!

Tomorrow will be an easy day, i think
Just cleaning up all the stuff i ripped out of the ground!
My strawberries & raspberry are ripe and my white berries almost!

Also, this year the birds did enjoy the blackberries very much!
I cant win that game!

And some other fruit is hard working to get there, too!

Dentist appointment in the afternoon...

I like to work in the garden in the twilight time, when it is almost too dark to see, what you are doing....., that gives a very special energy...

It was too cold, for me, to stay outside and watch the bat air show.....

I have been working inside, organizing my pantry. Sore from bending up and down, moved shelves around. Plenty to go. Back was sore before I started the project. Probably not as sore as you. It is good to have a garden.
