Radio, I love these radio shows, with all the old hits from last and beyond years! i have the radio on, all day, and sometimes there is this very old song, and without knowing how i know, i sing the lyrics! Just comes to me, out of nowhere! It always makes me laugh. Where did that came from?? i like to listen, and be surprised with the hits, some are horrendous, and others are a trip down memory lane! I have listen to the Top 4000 on Radio 10, now i am listening Radio 2 the Top 2000. It is great to hear soo many great songs, it makes these horrible dark days a bit more light, for me.. And, in the new year they start with all the music that did not make it, into those Top lists. I love it! We did not see the sun, for more then 4 days now! it makes me feel very depressed. The musis helps. Going outside, every day, helps too. |

In my younger days, there was a radio station that played old programs from the 1930 and later, the shadow, the green hornet, etc. Many of these programs can be found on u tube.

I love the way some of the local commercials on TV are bringing back the songs of my youth. I pay no attention to the commercial, but the song makes me smile.

Music is such a good companion, whether for good or for bad times... and radio is my first love, I even uses to work on one radio station for years 😊

ExName, Ooh, you were a DJ?! Great! Yes, radio is my first love too. I have LPs, CD, and even still cassettes... But i listen every day to the radio.
