Storm! Yesterday, was as stormy day. It was totally crazy! I could not open one window, because the wind made it impossible to open it. I needed to do some shopping, watching people on their bikes, i decided it was best to go walking! It was lovely, walking in all the wild natural elements, trying to blow me off my feet! Taking a corner, and not being able to take one extra step! The wind almost took my cap with it! I like that, very much, the knowledge, we are just very small.. nature can do as it pleases, we dont have much to tell, about that all! Makes feel humble... And that is a good thing.... |

If i lived near the coast, i would have been walking on the beach. being sandblasting, beats a beauty treatment, every time!

We don't have storms here, but heavy rains and wind we do.. Spring and Autumn are periods of the year when they are often and it can be quite an experience to go out then and feel the scent of rain and the power of wind... it really makes you feel humble...

I played golf on Friday in wind like that rosa! It was crazy… After 18 holes I was glad to get away from the wind. But as a golfer I play in all conditions except snow… Love being out in all the weather mother nature delivers….  ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. ExName, Aah, the smell of the soil, after a summer rain shower! Hmmm... Yes, i like that challenge too. It can be a real experience! walking in a forest and listening to the sounds of the trees, during such storm, is also very impressive... I love that!

i have often felt humbled by nature. There is a lake in northern Vermont where i like to go camping my myself. When it begins to get dark, ill paddle out to the middle of the lake, stop and just float around looking up at all the stars. Very humbling

I like thunderstorms..the really violent ones, but those seldom occur where. I'm located now. As long as you're safe and don't become part of the storm you're good. It would be nice to live somewhere that had some good wind. Oh, before I forget. During the spring/early summer the frogs are so loud at night it's almost deafening. At least where I'm at. The woods are full of them.

alwaysassertive, Well, since the climate is on shuffle, we never know, what kind of weather we will have, here in Holland ... 4 seasons in one hour! sometimes. That is pretty loud! The ponds i was talking about are 3 km away, so i only hear the frogs when i am on my bike tour..... Last year, in spring, there was almost no water in the pond, anymore... But they survived!
