Wide a wake, at 05: 11! It was like some switch was turned on! Awake! BAM!! i like to wake up, before the sun does... but this! is just a bit too much! 😀 Now i can read some blogs, respond to some. Retirement means that alarm clocks are a thing of the past thankfully but old age awakens a different type of alarm clock, an internal one, meaning that I am awakened 2 or 3 times in the night ! What I would do for the good old 8 hours sleep ! Take Care & Stay Safe & have a lovely day in the sunshine !!!!

lancylad, My inner alarm clock is still working, although i dont work anymore, fulltime.. "Just" volenteerswork.... Maybe, if you dont eat anymore, after 6, you will sleep better? Or take your most heavy meal around 3 and eat something lighter in the eveing? You can always try that out, see if it works for you, too.  Thank you,

For me if I awaken after the sun it simply feels real strange. I love the pre dawn hours a great deal for quiet time. Have a beautiful day!

I love that feeling over the weekend when I wake up naturally without an alarm being set, and when I have that lovely feeling of free choice if I will stay a little while in bed, have coffee in bed, read something, or just daydream under the warm duvet... sometimes it is quite early, sometimes later but the feeling of being free to do what I want and need is unbeatable... have a lovely day, Rosa!
