The newest trick from alt? I had some conversation goin on, with this man. All was nice and civilised. it was nice to talk with him. And! TADAAAH! All of the sudden, all the mail exchange is gone! Nothing , nowhere to find it back!!! He is, like me, not a paying member...... BUT, should that be a problem in this case? Alt!

It would, almost drive a men/woman crazy!! I thought it was not possible, to even get worst! This site! I long to the good years, where you could make contact with anyone you where interested in. without all the "become a paying member and then we promise you paradise on earth" bullshit, kind of advertisement! I hople this man, knows the tricks and tick from alt and will write again... asking what is going on....

I hear you. This site has changed so much and mostly for the worse. I would say something like 90 percent of the female profiles are now fake. Sad.

I often say that more than 90% of the female profiles here are now fake. Alt has driven most of the women away, and they have been replaced by fake profiles, just like Twit has done. And to make things worse, there are a lot of fake male profiles saying complimentary things about the fake female profiles on the home page, in order to make all the fakes look real. This site has really gone downhill.

When did this happen? Yesterday I put a post up about Tony Dow RIP, there were comments made and then the post was gone, vanished. So I put up another one about Tony Dow and it got comments. Then about 12 hours later the original post returned.

They also took down my post yesterday about MonkeyPox and any photos will animals. I had a picture of Cornelius and Zira from PLANT OF THE APES that got taken down. I guess they look too much like real apes.

Alt has long had problems with posts disappearing, then reappearing. Don't know if it's a glitch, the system backing info up and temporarily hiding things, or what. It's frustrating as hell, and of course Alt doesn't keep ANYONE informed on system maintenance, so we are all left in the dark. Wondering, though, if you are both non-members, how were you messaging in the first place? If it was through blog posts, I can certainly see the Alt gremlins at work and hope that the posts reappear for you. This is one reason I never mind getting off Alt and using Google email or chat for ongoing conversations.
