Turkey and Syria, There has been a very big earthquake in Turkey and Seria. It is very big disaster. Especially in Syria, because of the ongoing war and rebels overthere.... And, also, because those two country lying on a very big earth plates, who move against and under neath each other, making earthquakes.... A lot of houses did collapse. Because they have an other way of building, then overhere in Holland/ europe... This Earthquake did happen in the dead of night, around 04 o'clock.... There is a very big Turkish and Syrian popullation overhere in Holland, so every one is in a kind of shock and disbelieve. Trying to contact family and friends, and not hearing anything! The whole Turkish & Syrian community is in shock I was glad to hear from a Syrian friend, that at least, her family is safe! Thank the goddess, there is a whole lot of help on their way!! With rescue dogs too. |

I am not religious, but i do pray for all the people overthere, maybe under the rubble..... To get saved.... rescued..

I saw some of the devastation in the news. It is massive and quite terrible. Prayers would be in order.

There are so many disasters in the world these days. I am sad that so many suffer.

Images were cataclysmic, Rosa... as it was a judgement day... thousands have lost their life, even more are injuried, material damages in billions... and it seems it is not ending as this morning another earthquake took place... very sad and I can say traumatic to see ☹😥

drmgirl, It is, indeed. i am in shock... about the magnitude, and the stubornness, thick headed, from the Leaders, who find more importance in holding up the status and kill a lot of people, by doing so... Instead of give every one the help they need. do bounderies! no war! struggles anymore!

ExName, There were more then 15 or 18 after shocks!! Terrible! It is winter there, now, and there is storm and rain and snow, and freezing!! Even if they survive, they might die from the cold!

electos, I know! it also known in Turkey and Syrvia that they live on those plates... Alas the buidling laws??? A lot of bribing, corrupt guys... money hungry, bad wages, and on and on.. there are plates like in San Francisco and the San Andreas fault. A hell of a lot after shocks and still going on. It is winter, there now..... sighs.....
