It was soo funny. I believe, i need new glasses. So i look around, see what the shops have in offer.... I visited this shop, telling me, the machine could not read my right lense.... That worried me a bit. They also told me NOT to go to other shops, to let my eyes check there.... That make me worry even more! Telling me, i had to see my doctor and go to the hospital....?  Wat is going on? I Dont like it, when people lie to me. I find out, anyway, so they lose any time..... So, ofcourse i went to an other shop. I did go to an other shop and there they checked my eyes, and told me i have -3 or -4..... That means, i cant see anything, withoug glasses...?! Everything is blurry... What is going on! So, i went to yet an other eyewear store. Told the lady of the shop this story... She was totally suprised!! Wait, wait a minute, she said, -3, -4? How did you get here!? i laughed, took out my glasses, showing them to her. She could not handle it. Asked for assistence So, i tell the story again. By that time, i knew i was in a good shop. They told me, when you have -3 or -4 you have very thick glasses I said, i know! This is not correct, i have like -1,75 or something like that They were totally suprised!! Wanted to know, wich shop this was. I did not want to say that, just an other shop, i said... ( i mean, what does it matter? ) I already knew, they made this up!.. The reaction from the lady of the shop was sooo funny! She could not believe, me having -3 or -4, and could get to her shop! WIthout glasses!!  So, now i have to pick out an other frame. Why cant i hold my old frame and they put in new glasses in it? It is more ecological aware, it should also be less expensive...? Maybe? Talking about recycling? circulair? The eyewear stores are not yet in that modus, alas. |

Cranky, Oh, i can see reasonable good, without glasses, but especially with reading i experience some fuzzy.... view... Dont take everything they tell you, for "the truth".....

Lighthouse, My old glasses will do nicely, i can cope with them, It is just a minor change.... Next week i will, most probabebly, buy my new glasses....

My last pair I got bi focals, great for reading but not so much for driving. I may try and get new lenses for my old pair I keep in my truck.

my Eyewear is pretty cheap because I only see what I want to see 😂 😂

I'm working my way through different strengths of reading glasses as need +1.75 to drive , but about +2.50 to read computer screens. It doesn't help that my left eye focuses different than my right eye , so sometimes I have to shut one eye to read things !! D-J xx

bikerforslut, Yes, sometimes is it better to have two pair of glasses, one for reading and the other for the other eye works~!
