Bike ride, Yesterday was the first day of a heat wave. Or so they promissed us. So, i decided to go on a bike ride of 33 + kilometers. In the moring ,it i was still very cold, riding in the shade of trees.... I was soo happy i took my shawl with me... It worked very good, as a second layer of clothes... I checked the route, i did not want to use my phone. So i memorized some parts of the route, the numbers of the route.... and all the little places i had to go by..... Then, i found out, they made a new bike highway, sort of. That was a very nice surprise. Knowing myself, i knew i would have some difficulties finding the route... I knew i had to stay close by the railroad, to follow to that big city... No problemo at all!! Just stick to the bike highway and you will arrive at your place of destiny... It was great!! It took about 2 hours to get 33.4 kilometers under my wheels.. So, nice to be in a city where the people are nice, and decent and have a sense of humor and i had a great time Later on, it became very hot!! i did ate my lunch in a very nice park, in the middle of this city. There was a herbal garden and some fruit trees It was very quiet!! singing birds overal...... Later on, i went to some shops, talked with the owner/friends, It was great, talking about all kind of stuff, personal stuff especially. I want to to search for that one market stall and when i found her stall, she was in shock! What?! How? I laughed, told her, i came by bike, dont you see my bike?? She laughed too! We talked, she was very afraid, worried about my safety, wanted to know, if i had my phone with me, charged and all I told her, how did we do, that, without iphone......? How did we survived?? as a joke,..... She did not like the joke, untill i explained her, i had to go by bike for more then 40 kilometers without a phone..in highschool times. How did i survived!!?  You ask people, you go and ring a doorbell and ask for help?! You stop a car and ask for help.... What ever is needed..... The highway was almost all for myself, no other bikers to be seen! One or maybe two.... I enjoyed the ride , On the way back i took the time, it was great! On the way back, my skin needed shade... there was no shade at all!! I still feel the heat in my skin. Now you can see, which parts of my body did take on some sunshine, and wich not!! Looks very silly... |

Exname it was like i was all back on track, on those bike rides with that friend, about 30 years ago!! Loved it! Planning on more rides!

Lighthouse, In the beginning, i was a bit afraid if i did take the right turns and all that. It was all in the middle of nowhere! No houses, no farms, nothing! Later on, i did understood i could not go wrong! I enjoyed the ride.
