Rain  ,The last days have been mad!! Soo much rain! We almost did not have any real summer. and now we are in the midst of this rain season.. Not the way as in Spain, when you have a downpour, and after that, the sun is shining again. 20 + degrees!  Noo! The whole freaking day it is very, very overcast and then a tsunami of rain is poring down on you! and again and again! I did not stay dry, in all those showers!! of rain!! Although i did wear my rain cape, coat. Not normall! soo much rain!! In Germany and parts of France it is going to rain, also, very much. People did get this warning to stay indoors and dont drive. We will get some of that water, rain overhere too So we might get some floods here too. Well, not in the part i live in, but in the South of Holland, for sure!! pray it wont be too horrible!! There is this song; Stop this train, i wanne get off... That is what i am singing, when i hear an other weather disaster coming up. |

Autumn is here,

It has been dry, hot, and humidhere... Last night there was an amazing ightning, thunder, more lightning and then rain. Knocked out my power for just a bit. We have a thing we call heat lightning, here, seems to stay up in the clouds. The storm was a mixture of that and other lightning. Put on a light show!

It's been very hot here but we have a storm brewing in the Carribean. Something tells me we are about to have plenty of rain.

Here in Arizona, this will be the hottest, driest Summer in history. I had work to do in the yard this morning. I opened the door at 6 am, and it was already 93 degrees. I closed the door. I was born here, and I've had it.

Wetstickykiss, The same here, but then when it is almost the whole year on, autumn. Never enough sunshine for me!! We only had 4 or 5 days of sunshine in June, way too wet and cold. Nothing started blooming in the garden, then, we had about 14 days of too hot (for the average dutch person) not for mé!! I loved that very short lived heat wave. And after that, i was al down hill, cold wind, too wet....jadajada.... No summer, what so ever!!

likeit, Hmm, i love thunderstorms!! i dont like that huminity that much, we have that here, too, 98 %... cold huminity. no fun. I would have loved to be able to watch such a show!! In Spain, the thunderstorms are also tremendous!! Love that!!

drmgirl, when it is that hot, some rain is just what you need, maybe? Here, we have soo much rain, it is no fun, anymore. In spain when it rains, the temps do drop a bit, but after the rain it is getting warm/hot again. Here? it stays cold for the rest of the week!!

ryder, You wont believe it! But, we have some sort of late summertimes again, with temps around 20 degree.. They are mentioning it be a next heat wave!  Folks overhere, all get crazy when the temps are somewhat above 20 degree.... Unbelivable. although it is totally crazy, i am happy with all that sunlight!! More! please!
